United) and our employees.  We provide our customers with a broad range of products

and services as effectively and conveniently as possible, and we want you to understand

what nonpublic personal information we collect about you and how we use it.

Old United consists of a group of companies that includes Old United Life Insurance

Company, Old United Casualty Company (which also does business in California under

the name of Vantage Casualty Company), and MPP company, Inc.

Old United provides customers with annuities, life insurance, credit life insurance,

credit disability insurance, marine insurance, and guaranteed auto protection (GAP)

coverage.  We also provide motor vehicle service contracts.

It is the policy of Old United to restrict access to nonpublic personal information

about our customers to those employees who need to know that information to provide

products or services to you.  We use technology to manage customer information, and we

maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal

standards to guard you nonpublic personal information.

     Old United does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.  If you decide to terminate your customer relationship(s), we will adhere to the privacy policies as described in this notice.

     Old United may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that are affiliated with us.  Our affiliated companies include a reinsurance company, a computer software company, and automotive and marine dealerships that provide products ad services to our customers.

     Old United may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to your insurance agent and our general agents and to other companies that perform marketing services on our behalf.  We may also disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to other financial institutions that we have joint marketing agreements with, including insurance companies and automotive dealerships, which provide financial products and services to our customers.
